Flat Branch Volunteer Fire Department has proudly served the rural community of Flat Branch, including Bunnlevel, Lillington, and Spring Lake, since our establishment on July 9, 1971. We are a combination department with 35 dedicated members—a mix of volunteer and paid staff—committed to providing fast, professional, and reliable emergency services to approximately 5,500 taxpayers in our coverage area.

Our fleet includes:

• 2 Pumper Tankers
• 1 Service Engine
• 1 Tanker
• 1 Ladder Truck
• 1 Utility Pickup

With these resources, we respond to a wide range of emergencies, from fires and rescues to other urgent situations. Funded by the local community, we are driven by the commitment of our members to protect and serve those who rely on us.
